The slides showing part of the homepage, the “About”, and the “FAQ” page. The leaf symbol in the logo was used as a background harmonising the “look and feel” on each page.
Branding and design
The logo was based on a business card which was given by a former designer.
The start of the website was to create the homepage with its content snippets and some call to actions, then linking them to the sub pages.
The sub pages where set up after creating the homepage with their features, to create the “look and feel” my client wanted.
SEO and Social Media Marketing where integrated during the process of creating the content.
The website is fully responsive.
The way it happened
I met Rachel’s friend through a network meeting in Brighton.
She recommended me to Rachel. During the process of creating the website, we used phone and emails to communicate.
I choose a light font for the body text and a smooth looking font for the headings, making the site easy to read. The colours from the logo and the leaf where used throughout the website to assure the corporate identity was incorporated into the website. After finishing the website, I met Rachel and introduced her on how to change any content and to create new pages.
